JUSTIN THOMAS
For City Council
Ward Métis

Why Vote For Justin?
Justin immigrated to Canada nearly fifteen years ago after graduating and working as a nurse for six years. He has been a resident of the Greater Hardisty area for the past twelve years. Now serving as a dedicated front-line police officer, Justin works directly with the community to address the challenges that impact us all—many of which arise from policies introduced by out-of-touch politicians and bureaucrats.
In the summer of 2024, when crime and disorder severely impacted people in Capilano area, as a community member, Justin teamed up with other community members to organize a petition for more police resources in the area, coordinated a protest to bring attention to the issues the community had been facing, and hosted a town hall meeting to help find the answers community members were looking for from social agencies operating in the area.
Living among you and striving to make Edmonton a safer place, Justin has learned that real change requires a shift in city hall. If elected, Justin will make you a priority, ensuring your voice is heard before any policy decisions are made.
Justin is committed to prioritizing in-person community engagement, allowing you and your neighbors to have a say in what is best for your community, rather than having elected officials and bureaucrats impose decisions from above. Justin believes that ideas shouldn’t be forced through laws; people should choose them based on their values.
